Wir sind stolz ein Teil des ersten “Runden Tisches” gewesen zu sein - Austausch und Netzwerkdenken sind wichtiger denn je! Wir haben uns mit der IHK Kassel-Marburg, Wirtschaftsförderung und Regionalmanagement Waldeck-Frankenberg GmbH und der Kreishandwerkerschaft Waldeck-Frankenberg zusammengesetzt – initiiert von der Wirtschaftsförderung Waldeck-Frankenberg.
Ziel: Veranstaltungsabgleich und die Planung gemeinsamer Events zur besseren Vernetzung unserer regionalen Wirtschaft.
Definitiv spannende Gespräche, wertvolle Impulse und vor allem: ein klares Commitment zur Zusammenarbeit! Zukünftig wird der Runde Tisch regelmäßig stattfinden, um Synergien zu schaffen und die Entwicklung in der Region weiter voranzutreiben. Ein starkes Zeichen für Kooperation und Zukunftsgestaltung über Institutionen-Grenzen!

Company “Tanuki SEO” under the leadership of Julia Wenzel, who shows us all how to
remains positive and hopeful despite adversity.
Julia Wenzel and "Tanuki SEO" are exemplary of the courage and entrepreneurial skills that are anchored in our region. Despite the challenges that come with starting a business, her story shows how important it is to hold on to positive values. With "Tanuki SEO", Julia Wenzel helps companies to become visible online and to increase their reach in a targeted manner. Her focus on search engine optimization and digital accessibility not only helps individual companies, but also contributes to the economic development of the region. Because better findability on the Internet means a larger customer base, more growth and ultimately more stability for local companies.
After a diagnosis that threatened her eyesight, Julia had to reorient her life. But instead of despairing, she and her mother, who was also blind, embarked on an adventurous journey on foot from Rosenthal to Sicily - a powerful symbol of determination and confidence. She then developed the foundations for her current self-employment through basic blind technical rehabilitation and her training as a clerk in e-commerce.
Thanks to the stable democratic and social structures, new companies like “Tanuki SEO” can emerge and grow even in difficult times. This project – and Julia’s success story – should remind us all how strong our existing structures are and the power that lies in a functioning democracy and reliable social networks.

Get to know suitable talents easily
With the Waldeck-Frankenberg internship week, you as a company can get to know students for a day on selected days, depending on your capacity. Without a company profile and within 5 minutes.
Internship days: summer holidays + three school weeks before (June 16, 2025 - August 15, 2025)

City cycling will also take place in Waldeck-Frankenberg in 2024.
City cycling is about cycling as many kilometers as possible during the campaign period from June 8th to 28th, thereby protecting the climate and doing something good for your own health.
It is not just the district that is calling for people to take part in the city cycling event; 20 towns and communities in Waldeck-Frankenberg are also taking part in the campaign. Of the 21 municipalities, only Haina is not registered. But cyclists from there can also take part and register for the district. Anyone who lives, works, goes to school or is in a club in Waldeck-Frankenberg can take part, the district administration informs.
DIGI grant is now available again

The state of Hesse supports companies in the digital transformation of their production and work processes by introducing new digital information and communication technology systems and improving IT security.
Who is genesis and what is it for?
On the one hand, the project is aimed at startups and those interested in founding a company in the green energy sector. This includes ideas and innovations on renewable energies, innovative energy systems, energy technologies and energy efficiency. On the other hand, the project addresses founders and startups whose solutions can be applied in the green energy sector (e.g. AI solutions for the energy system).
genesis consists of an accelerator and a tandem program as well as content-related workshops and cooperation offers. Because a large and sustainable network is the basis for the successful development of startups, networking offers complement the technical content in the project.

The “WirtschaftsWandel Hessen” service point acts as a central contact point for Hessian companies to help them transform into a sustainable and crisis-proof economy. In a free orientation consultation, the WWH service point finds suitable funding and services and shows the way.
New funding programme Corporate Mobility Management BMM
As part of the Federal Government's Climate Protection Action Programme 2020, the Federal Ministry for Digital Affairs and Transport is supporting the management of sustainable mobility in companies, businesses and municipalities with the Corporate Mobility Management funding programme.
ZIM applications now possible again
Despite the difficult fiscal situation, the federal government has sent a clear positive signal for the ZIM in the 2022 federal budget and in the government's draft budget for 2023. With the once again significantly increased funds and a gradual reduction in medium-term financial planning to a level that is still high compared to previous years, the strong demand from small and medium-sized businesses has been taken into account. This means that applications can now be submitted to the ZIM again.

We are now starting a dialogue process with citizens, associations, clubs and local politicians in which we pass on information, facilitate exchange and take on board suggestions for new ideas," explained Hinz.
The online platform www.land-hat-zukunft.de/ is now available and presents all funding instruments and collects best practice examples on an interactive map. As soon as it is possible again, regional events will also be held to strengthen networking and knowledge transfer.
