Tips for your business plan

When you take the step into self-employment, you should always create a business plan so that you can answer the question "Should I become self-employed or should I leave it alone?" After all, starting a business is a complex undertaking. A business plan helps you to sort out and develop your own thoughts and to create a roadmap for your start-up.

The following pages and documents give you an initial overview:

The Chamber of Industry and Commerce Kassel-Marburg offers a good overview of the individual aspects of a start-up project. Here you will find tips and documents on the business plan and an initial concept for download.

The Hessen start-up workshop, as a module of the German entrepreneur workshop, is the secure platform for implementing your business idea. With the start-up workshop, you can work and communicate on your start-up idea nationwide and as a team with other founders. You will receive competent and personal support from an expert from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy has also launched the Founders Platform, a free online tool for creating business plans, together with KfW. The range of functions is similar to the Founders Workshop Hessen, but their structure differs significantly. We recommend that you look at both platforms, compare them and work with the platform that suits you best.
